I’m going to be replacing my Bostitch flooring stapler soon. I was wonderiing if anyone has used to new 2-in-1 cleat/staple gun from Bostitch. I see the older version is sold at Home Cheapo now branded as a DeWalt. Wondering if I’m better off sticking with the old model vs. switching to the new.
Thanks

You get what you pay for
I have a Bostich cleat nailer (3/4" material) and one for engineered flooring (3/8"). I purchased them at Menards. Both have done well over the years. I am not a flooring contractor, but I do flooring. I estimate I use these tools twice per year...maybe 3X. My tools are 7-8 years old. Every tool is made for a specific task. The 2-in-1 is probably geared to the occasional home-owner-project. REMEMBER THIS: you get what you pay for.
