bottom cut on a rafter/stacked gables

I don’t have this one figured out yet.
When you have stacked gables and you need to cut the barge rafters, is there an easy way to figure the bottom angle. I currently just sketch out the intersection and then throw a square on my drawing to figure the angle.
What’s the formula or trick to speed the process?
