What is the proper technique for bracing poured concrete walls before backfilling? Should I use 2 x 6 bracing? What is the best way to anchor the bottom of the brace? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Usually, the floor holds the top of the walls apart...backfill after decking it.
Unless i'm missing something here...
Always install the floor joist and deck before back filling unless the walls were designed to be retaining wall (very unlikely). the floor braces the wall so that the wall can act like a standard beam instead of a cantilevered beam.
