Hey gang….quick thumbs up or down here. My local Woodworkers Wharehouse is clearing out its supply of AIRY pnuematic brad nailers for $79 a pop……I don`t have an incredible need for one…..the occasions when I do, I hand nail…..but at that price, unless the tools are complete garbage, I think Id be an idiot not to grab one.
Anyone with experience have an opinion on AIRY products?

Local Senco dealer sez (i.e. I can't confirm) that Senco sold part of it's low end to Airy and that some of the tools now with the Senco label on them are made elsewhere, and, in his opinion, ain't worth the paint thats on them. FWIW . . .

Had an airy 18 g brad nailer but couldn't get it to stop sraying a shot of grease on the wall with every brad . Passed it along on the next garage sale. just my 7900 cents Rik
I bought mine on a clearout for $79 , the next week they were $49

Guy, brad nailers are a dime a dozen, for occasional use. That one is $69 on Tool Crib, but you have much better choices for under a $100.
The thing is, it has to work when you use it, regardless of how frequent that is. It isn't worth $5 of aggravation to me.
Ps. I had a Bostitch and brought it back, it sux'd like every other Bostitch finish gun I ever bought.
Pps. I think Senco's second line is Accuset, and we don't need to get into what I think of the line of Accu tools, lol.
senco dropped the accuset and merged some of the nailers into its senco line.
IN all honesty most 16-18-23 gauge nailers are similar.
Buy the nailer that can be serviced locally and youll do fine.
Oh no, they are not all equal...
You have good and bad within a price range.
Ah, yes. I believe I stand corrected, which is fine so long is the wiff doesnt read here. I'm obviously suffering from the senility and memory loss that happens as you near your mid thirties. Accuset, Airy. . . heck, I got the first letter right. "The child is grown / The dream is gone / And I have become / Comfortably numb " lyrics by Roger Waters
