I’ll be going to London soon, and was wondering if there is a British equivalent to FHB. It would be interesting to check out differences in materials and techniques as I walk around, and a good magazine would help. There’s a British bicycling magazine (Cycling Plus) that I pick upm whenever I can find it because it’s miles (kilometers?) better than anything here in the US.

What in the world does Lucky Strikes Means Fine Tobacco have to do with FHB?

Nothing, obviously. So it must mean something else in the UK.
I remember an alternative reading from junior high, but it's much to coarse to post in such a genteel forum as this.

Remember the spazz tricks from not watching where you were going? :) I myself never got a black eye from walking into a wall, or ran over a curb in the car, but I heard stories.

Al,
Sorry for the sarcastic comment, but, .... If it proportionate to everything else over there, it should be at least half the size and cost twice as much (before the VAT). Just couldn't resist. Sorry.
Jon
nah.
only things like diy your house and architects weekly.
that sort of thing.
not much fine homebuilding here.
where you going??
Al- just don't go calling anyone a 'buger' over there like you might over here just in passing.
That word carries a whole different meaning there and you might get the black eye.
Rez: Thanks for the tip. We're going to visit my daughter (Semester abroad), and she's already warned me not to call anyone a "wanker."
We'll be in London, but I hope to get out into the country a bit and see what kind of homebuilding is going on.
