I dread laying tile simply because of my MK saw. There is nothing I like about this machine (270-exp). Broke down and bought the DeWalt D24000 from amazon hoping that tile setting will now become an “enlightening” experience…or perhaps it’s just another excuse to buy a tool…
I know some don’t like yellow but man they do build good stuff (i.e. new pressure cleaner with a Honda engine). Yellow tools are no frill to the point tools… Also own the DW706… best miter saw. Never took a yellow tool in for repairs… just red & light blue, and gray.

I've been happy with the yellow tools I have as well. However, just so ya know... the miter saws have a lot of torque and will eventually eat the outer bearing (most replaced part on the saw, other than the brushes). My 708 started out of square, if fed from the right (still square fed from the left). Thought I was going crazy then someone here on the forum (Piffin IIRC) mentioned the bearing. All better now :-)
