I’m about to finish putting the new siding on my house – big double wide, but its paid for.
The siding is pre-primed hardi plank – 6″ reveal.
The decorating committee (my wife) gets to decide the color of the trim, but the house is going to be WHITE.
I have a good paint sprayer. However, I have no objection to putting the paint on with a brush. The question is, which will give me the longest lasting paint job?
It will be latex paint. I’m still trying to decide between Benjamin Moore and Behr.
Does anybody think that I need to prime the siding again?

I think a combination of spraying and backbrushing or rolling is best. The sprayer is great for application and the rolling or backbrushing helps achieve maximum bond.

Roll and back-brush - at least that's what I do.
