My buddy called last night and asked for advise about a buble of water (we think) between the paint and drywall in his bathroom. I think it is condensation from the bathroom, but he said the vent pipe, which is close to the area, is wet. He said the vent pipe looks like it has condensation on it. Any one come across this problem? Mel

Yep, I've seen that on a couple of occasions, due to leakage from above.
I've seen this several times
I've seen this several times also. Seems to be most often when the moisture is behind gloss/semi-gloss paint, like in a bathroom. Flat paint usually just has the moisture bleed through, and leave a spot.
