Hello! I just bought my first house and would like to build a guitar rack to hang in my basement. The wall I wanted to build on is more rotted than I initially thought and I have no experience with this kind of project. Any advice on where to start with what materials to use or methods to try to make sure I have a stable wall that can hold a guitar rack safely and securely? If attached pictures of the wall as well. Thank you!

The electrical hookup is only one part of the equation; when installing a hot tub, there are a number of key requirements to keep in mind.

You’ll need to post some more and better pictures.
Maybe include a sketch with dimensions of this rack you want to make.
Looks like the basement wall has some water issues.
The right way is to tear out all the wall that is there down to the block/cement part, and start over.
Water coming through the wall (which is the source of the problem) can be blocked either on the outside of the wall, by digging out and installing a waterproof barrier, or by managing the water inside the wall, providing a place for it to gather, travel, and exit the house.
Then you would build a new wall. Plenty of sources on how to do this, with a treated base, studs and insulation and a top plate secured to the floor joists above.
Is that white part at the bottom of the wall part of the concrete footing, or something else?
More photos would help.
