Since it is over 90 degrees outside I have decided that I need to build a pool at the encouragement of the wife and kids. Encouragement is a mild word. I have seen all types of inground pool kits on the net and wondered if any of you have ever built a pool. Like most of you here, I can do about anything construction wise, so I am not easily intimidated. (maybe I should be) Any first hand advice is much appreciated.

Swimming pools.
The hole in the ground into which we pour money. Lots of money. And it never stops, only keeps getting bigger and bigger...
BTDT.
Well, I watched this one. Nothing looked too hard. Forget the name, but it's pretty much a custom kit - you just choose the shape, get the pieces, and get the liner to fit.
