Just had a metal building built and was wondering what the best technique is for erecting stud walls. Do you incorporate the walls next to the outside steel wall,..into the steel wall, or do you diregard the steel wall and just put up a regular stud wall jsut inside of the metal outside wall. The latter makes more sense to me.

Let's see if this attachment make sense to you.
Wood Frame or Steel Frame?
The Butlers (Steel frame) we have built in the past had a steel girt at 7'6" which gave you a good anchor point towards the top of your stud wall.
We usually attached the stud wall to the steel girt with small clips (heavy gauge angle) with self tap screws to the girt and nail or screw to the wood stud.
Hope that helps.
