Hey there, I have a small 600 sq foot cottage in the San Juan Islands and would like to bump out space enough for a galley kitchen.
Can someone please tell me the construction name or term for this type of bump out?
As well, where I can go for any info on this type of addition; website, FHB article, YouTube, etc.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.
