contracts/proposals pay draw sheet scheduling bill of material and an occasional T&M job would need some kind of balance sheet. Is this enough Info?
Not completly sure what I am looking for but mostly the above listed items can use seperate program for P&L I think and for the checkbook and payroll but if there is something that does it all I would like to know.

The reason I ask is cuz it may be difficult to get one program to do it all.
There are estimating books available, and while many here will severely criticize the dollar amounts, they do have a neat format, and if you can change the numbers to suit your actuals, they do a nice job of estimating ... or actually of organizing an estimate.
For contracts there the "Contractors Legal Kit" from JLC.
Others here will have good input on accounting software.
Personally, I created pay draw detail sheets on excel, and use either Excel or Word for all my stuff.

I just bought the Quickbooks system for small business. It has all kinds of great info and those pre-finished documents that I was looking for like you. I don't think there are any contracts & such , but maybe do some research. So far I'm very happy, but I don't have anything to compare it too.
