I have a client that wants to place a trash can in a lower peninsula cabinet. Easy enough, right? The catch is they want doors on both sides so they can slide the can either direction. Anyone done this before? I figure we can build something, but it would be easier to buy if someone makes the hardware.

how about two trash cans- one goes left and the other right. If the cabs are 24 deep it might work. I saw a submarine galley that had drawers the opened from both sides of a counter- Someone makes it. Call Electric Boat in Ct. Ask for the double acting drawer slide designer.(DADSD in Navy speak) Good luck!
