I am about to begin building maple cabinets for our kitchen. I would like to paint them white, and would prefer to spray them…
Anyone recently use a cabinet paint they really liked?
I should add:
I would like to paint them white, and have access to a paint booth.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know if you have a spraybooth available....I haven't found a good waterborne replacement for the acid-catalyzed solvent-borne paints, so that's what I use, but you need the spraybooth. I use Becker-Acroma Matador (post-catalyzed.....you add the catalyst) , or the equivalent post-catalyzed paint from Sadolin.
I do it frequently... best stuff I've ever found is called "Cabinet Kote" or something like that. IIRC, it's a Muralo product.

What kind of spray equipment do you have?
If you go with a water based paint off the shelves, not as durable as others mentioned above, keep with a 100% acrylic paint designed for high traffic areas. These dry hard enough they can be easily sanded if your spray skills or "paint booth" are less than ideal.
Best of luck
Beer was created so carpenters wouldn't rule the world.
Sherwin William conversion varnish-The product is catalyzed, hard as a rock, approved by KCMA and dries very fast-15 minutes. It does not yellow either.

I use Sherwin Williams ProClassic 100% acrylic paint and primer. Not as hard as conversion varnish, but easier to use. Durable and non-yellowing. Need a conversion gun with a pressure pot to spray.
