I have a building that’s 26′ 3 square so can’t use 2x6s as rafter ties unless I special order them ..
has anyone used cable rafter ties, and could you share the connection details, type of cable, Etc??

About 2 T tensile, any 1/4" dia wire rope will be OK, tighten with turnbuckles, flemish eye splice at each end,
Or low cost, just double up 1/8" mild steel wire, loop over top girders, twist wire woor bar for tension.
