I know a couple of guys in CT that I'd like to email your message to. Namely Chris Green. I doubt Andy Engel has time with his busy schedule, but he might be worth a chit chat as well.

Paul, give me a call or an email. I might have some useful info.

Thanks Andy and Justin...
Andy, if you're agreeable maybe you could email me your phone #? I promise no heavy breathing, contrary to what you may have heard...

Because I make money on the 900 number. Oh, wait, you work in publishing. You must be unfamiliar with money...Andy

Vertical or horizontal? I build a 20'-0 bridge in Stamford some years ago using the SS cable for the safety rail. Stringing the first one took 1/2 hour. But figured out a routine with the small parts and it went together quickly.
Consider me the back up guy if you get stuck.
The other Chris.
Thanks Chris... will do.
If you are looking for slick hardware look at the marine industry. They have way slick no-swage cable ends and just about any stainless goodie you could think of.
The no-swage cable ends are so expensive it would probably be worth it to get some close measurements and have the cables made up.
Beer was created so carpenters wouldn't rule the world.
I've had great results with the system from Feeney Wire Rope out of the Bay Area. The terminations, grommets, and other hardware are first rate.
Thanks guys...
