We are planning a 1-story framed building; peak roof open as a cathedral clg. interior. We want this place tight- Passive House level or close. Question- for various reasons, including the desire to wrap the walls and roof, we want to eliminate the ext. soffits; tie the rafters to the ext. wall top plates. Exterior wall continues to sloped roof, unbroken. How is the ventilation addressed? or will the added insulation/wrap/siding/roofing eliminate the need? (similar to attached)

You probably want a "hot roof", with no ventillation.
