Hello. I’ve been wanting to demolish the coat closet between my kitchen and living room/dining room for open space (see picture). I am not an expert, otherwise, I wouldn’t be here, but my gut tells me the closet is not wall bearing since the other half of the space is not supported by anything. Please tell me what you think. Yes, you can tear it out but remember the flooring will have to be repaired under it.
