Can lighting in ceilings under roof. Will you use LED?

Very pricey, but the payback just from electricity savings, is supposedly less than 3 years. Then there is the heat factor. If you air condition, you’ll pay less because they emit far less heat, and you pay for every BTU you move out of the house. There is also the snowmelt and iceup reduction feature. Emitting very very low heat, they put far less up through your roof, in winter. Have you used them? Post some feedback if you have.

Still kinda experimental. Lots of color problems, and the actual lifetime of the lamps is unknown.
A good compromise is compact fluorescent -- gets you about halfway to the lifetime and operating cost of LED at half the initial cost and better color. Virtually all commercial cans are now CFLs, and most people don't notice that they aren't incandescent.
