Can’t Find Plastic Wrapped Insulation
I did an attic a few years back and stumbled on something that I thought was great — bought of 24″ insulation that was sold in packs of 3, that was wrapped in a thin plastic film that keep the itch factor to a minimum — keep looking and just cannot find
Anyone know who produces such an animal so I can go their site and punch in my ZIP to find a local suppler.
Stuff was great because was going crossways over the attic floor joists, 24 wide, and was so tightly wrapped that it could easily fit through closet access panel in the ceiling — Tks Dudley

CA - I saw this - it is good but not what I had -- what I had was a very thin film of plastic like a long sleve but very very thin so it just rolled out once you cut the tape strap holding roll wound tight
I could go with your suggestion but and going to keep looking; if I see it, I'll come back and update with a link and a picture - Tks Dudley

Well that stinks! I wonder why they stopped making it? Probably something to do with moisture being trapped and the fear of mold.
Encapsulated is what it is. Home Depot has it in R-19 and R-30 for 24" spaces.
Dudley, Owens Corning made some of exactly what you're talking about.

Johns Manville makes it. I bought some from Menards recently.
Edit to add: Oops, I see that product was already mentioned.
