   Hey there. I'm not in the biz but live in the area. Have you contacted Harvest Homes? Their reach covers St. Joe Michigan to western Lake County. They are growing rapidly and have a good reputation among home buyers. My understanding us that growrth continues and '06 looks very strong for them.

   One of their partners / home designers was once a neigbor so my comments are no more than an unqualified endorsement at best.

   Might be worth a try.

   Just curious, but are there not any job openings in your area, or are you being selective?

   Sundays local Pittsburgh paper had 7 or 8 adds for carpenters with 5+ years experience.  All in the $15-$25 per hour range.  I found it an oddity this time of year.

   I'm just trying to guage the job market in other cities.  Good luck.
