Caulking

What are the best caulks for aluminum to glass sealing? Silicone? Polyurethane? Synthetic Rubber?

    I have always used silicone, but someone is sure to have another idea.

    Note of caution.

    You don't mention if the glass is sealed thermo pane units but if so read up on the incompatibility issues between the sealants on those units and various caulks.

    They can't get your Goat if you don't tell them where it is hidden.
