Cc Spray foam as external insulation.

I saw some one post a link to a Joe lstiburek article where he talks about using closed cell spray foam as an external insulation and secondary water barrier / rain screen. I can’t find it for the life of me can any one help me find some information on this? In my area it’s cheaper to do spray foam than foam board. Thanks every one in advance!
