I have been watching a house down the street and the owners seems venturesome. They set fence posts out of pressure treated 4x and then covered with cement board, followed by a stucco or cement coat! Less time than a cinder block wall by far, but how long is this going to last? Seems to me moisture will kill the posts due to no ventilation, and I am not sure how strong a skim coat would be on a flexible(somewhat)surface. Comments?
