I am interested in taking up the forty year old tile in my family room and leaving the cement floor exposed. I read with interest the recent article in FH about how to remove lead paint safely. I am wondering what precautions will be necessary to remove this tile and adhesive which I assume is asbestos laden. I am also wondering if it will be possible to color the cement, now forty years cured. Any ideas?
