I will soon be placing ceramic tile flooring over an existing terrazzo floor. I’m looking for suggestions on what I need to do to prepare the existing terrazzo surface. I assume that it needs to be “roughed” up somewhat to ensure good adhesion. If so, is there a specific process for this? What kind of equipment will I need to do it right?
