Over a month ago, I changed my e-mail address. I’ve tried to change it here a few times and every time I type in the new address, the old one still stays. What am I doing wrong?

Same here,
Gabe
*Gabe, you can run, but you'll just die tired.Love, Splintergroupie
*Keep following DF and you will continue to be dumped on.Gabe
*Just to cover the 5% chance: after filling in your new address, you do go tot he bottom of the page and click the "set preferences" button rather than hitting "back" on your tool bar ?
*Ryan, someone on the cooking board had exactly the same problem - the answer is that you can't change that address. The best you can do is log on under a different user name and type in your new email address there.
*And how!!!! You've really GOT to get serious about this incontinence thing, Gabe; my alter-ego Sphinctergroupie is available for counseling whenever you're ready.Glade tidings!
*Try this. (I haven't tried it myself, so I don't even know if it'll work.)Change your name. (I believe you can still do that.) Change it only a little, because I believe it'll change on all your posts, and there's no need to make this confusing to everyone. Then re-register under your current, unchanged name.
*I also had this problem, and emailed Andy about it. He cleared the problem up in a day or 2.
*Hey, Ryan, i did as Luka suggested, only had to change my "splintergroupie" quite drastically to keep it from kicking me into the old e-mail mode. I explained it over on Luka's thread about the Ark...everything hunky-dory now at MSN!
*got an email from sysop. He's gonna try to fix it.
*I sent you an email with info about fear of heights (to the address listed here); did you get it?
*No, I don't think so.Did it bounce cause my old address is no more. ISP sold, sold again, web site disapeared, billed for web hosting I had already paid for, now billed for two months of service I never had, in fact I had no email for over two weeks about two months ago. Finally back on track and I'm working on getting my web site back up somewhere else.
*Andy,I think Li, over in CT could use a pointer on how to get the email addresses changed.b : )
