I always wondered when someone would try that, I hope it works but my first gut instinct says "NO WAY" I won't be the first to lay down my $262!!!!

*What A laugh I had. Hey how about a weed wacker engine on that thing. lets say 800Lf of trim per gallon. Hey I should go to work for those guys. Don't tell anyone about the weed wacker Idea. They will probly steal it and make a killin.

*Can't weight for the 24v model. I think its time to integrate nuclear fission with cordless tool technology. But then the tree huggers won't like that.

*The only item that its missing is a Beer Dispenser, when they mod it and attach one of those then they got me....for life or until the beer runs out :)

          4. Gunner_1750 | Sep 03, 2001 07:25pm | #8

*I've been lurking, making an occasional post. Couldn't find anything worth while to post on until I found this monster. The SIL is coming back next week so I should have more reasons to sit in front of the puter and sulk,LOL.

*Only thing missing is the operator.Soon, you'll see tools that come with a "free operator". You won't have to do anything, including handle, haul, or even use the things!James DuHamel

          9. Gabe_Keway | Sep 05, 2001 04:57am | #13

*Is that for real? that must be some kind of superimposed computer generated joke! Theres no way any self respecting carpenter would be seen with something that ridiculous in their hands....Of course there is that stupid PC Bammer..ha!gabe

*Mabe they should change their name to Porter Cobble..Why not just put a hammer head on a rat trap?

          11. Bucksnort_Billy | Sep 07, 2001 02:00am | #15

*No compressor, no hose, oh yeah, I see the disadvantage...?

          12. Steve_Merrette | Sep 08, 2001 04:51am | #16

*yeah and those silly paslode impulses. me, I prefer dragging a hose and having it hang up on just about everything.

          13. Gunner_1750 | Sep 08, 2001 09:21pm | #17

*I love the Paslode. The mutant that Porter Cable developed is hideous. I look at it as Paslode developed the ultimate cordless nail gun and Patend the hell out of it. So this is the only way they can come out with a cordless and not infringe on Paslodes patents. It would realy suck to be an engineer in that company.

          14. Gary_Wheeler_ | Sep 17, 2001 09:32am | #18

*Am wondering what the "advanced diagnostic charger" is. Are there so many things that could go wrong, that the diagnostics machine is included at no extra cost?
