I know this may be very off topic however I would assume that more then a few contractors are using Chey express vans for their jobs.
I have replace my exterior sliding door handle and have not been sucessful in removing inside handle and panel to complete the process.
How do you remove inside sliding door handle to get to exterior door handle?

I have swing out doors on my express. The older 2500 gmc had the clip located behind the handle that you had to remove to pull the handle off (this on the cab and rear swinging doors). Possible that there is a clip you cant see on the back of that handle. You'll need the clip puller tool to remove it.
And here's another thing to think about. Just rcvd a Call Back from chevy for mine - 2000 express 2500-power steering problem. Check with a dealership if yours is affected. While you have 'em on the phone, ask about the handle.

Thank you for the note on removing the door handle. It was easy and my door is now fixed. I did lose that small spring in the door.
