Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

In this case, the ground cable was laid into the chimney. The lightning protection people handed us the air terminals and we installed them and clamped to the pigtail coming out of the top of the chimney.http://www.quittintime.com/ View Image
