Is it safe and or legal to use spray foam insulation around a chimney. Code says two inches of clearance all around. Thinkinging of using it at roof where it exits building. This chimney will be used with wood heat. Thanks in advance for any info. I’m having a devil of a time locating any info about chimney work.

That foam is really flammable. Take a piece of it and light a match to it.
