Anyone have a good idea about the costs of lining a chimney. I have a chimney serving one fireplace and with a separate flue for my gas furnace. As a part of the sale of the house a chimney inspection is to be done. Assuming chimney is basically sound structurally, I’m looking for a quick idea of what the lining alternative might cost. Chimney is two stories, and the work would be done in CT.

Just did a woodstove liner, stainless steel, insulated with Thermix, a light weight insulating mix.........$1850.00, add another liner.......you'd be up to around $3200.00 - $3400.00.
