Good score.
Leave it up to the computer guy. <G>
Cheers.
Thanks. I don't know why I couldn't find it before...
Now that I have read the info I'm a bit pi$$ed. ChoiceTrim: 10 yr warranty. Miratec: 25 yr warranty.

Ah, now the plot thickens.
Tomorrow heads will roll.
Be well.
let us know how the retailers handled this f__up______________________________________________

Well, I'm stuck on the one house. It's about 1/2 installed. It's a spec home, so it's not like anyone was promiced anything... On the other hand, there is gonna be a loaded truck headed away from my building site tomorrow.
Matt
good luck with it, im just cureus how they will react since it is obviously their mistake. everyone makes mistakes but what happens after the mistake can show alot about a person(or company). It might not be that big a deal in this situation but i know if i were you I would be nervouse that they might in the future deliver the wrong color of roof or somthing else which might cost alot of labor to fix.______________________________________________

Well, I told the salesmen to please get the stuff off my building site. He said he was going to special order the material that I had origionally requested. I said "no thanks". The reason being that special order = 1) no returns of excess material. 2) Need 2 more boards? - no problem, wait another 4 days 3) more expensive 4) one of his compeditors has the better quality material in stock at competitave prices.
Then I had to make a trip to the lumber yard to get a trailer load of the good stuff to finish up the current house. Upon returning I (with the help of the siders) had to slep the inferior product out of the way so it wouldn't get used by mistake.
So the one house is stuck with corner boards of the lower quality product. About 1/2 of the window trim too. Nothing I can do about it.
Matt
thanks for the update, all's well that ends well i guess..little bit of driving around but hey! thats what you pay yourself to do..______________________________________________

Thanks bud...
I ordered 2 houses of Miratec but this Choice Trim stuff is what the building supply sent out. It looks almost exactly the same. I didn't notice it until the guys had already started installing it. I don't hardly trust Miratec, but it has a good warranty and price so what the hey... Then the BS throws me this curved ball...
I sent an E-mail to Weyerhaeuser Saturday morning so we will see if they respond. Strange I can't find it on the web... Must be bran new or something... Matt
