As many know…this helicopter process is a drawn out affair. It takes nearly 2 years to receive all the parts. I have one shipment left due in December which will be my turbine engine and clutch….and all the other msc. parts.
I have been rough wiring it….seatbelts/shoulder harness are in. All the cyclic controls are in and adjusted to specs. The tail rotor is all to specs….the rotor blades are sent back to Idaho where they are balancing them…..and my instrument panel is coming along.
I just had my lower instrument panel laser engraved…and I was very pleased. I know how to delegate out tasks I am not up to.

Beautiful bird and shop Stan.
What is the "out-in" knob on the bottom of the panel.
You said the rotor blades were shipped back for balancing. Did they send them to you for fitting to the rotor hub, or what?

Eddie- There will be a red out under the "out" ,,,stands for out of gear. There will be a green light under the "in"...stands for in gear.
I had to make and bond the 16 doubler plates to the rotorblades. They are being milled down to fit the blade grips.

Still have the advertising gig with dewault I see!>G<
Stan, if the "360" is for your stairs and the "SF" for your initials...pretty slick.
Mongo- You are VERY observant. The N360SF is of course my N number. The SF are my initials....and the 360 was chosen because I am constantly going in circles....either building stairways...or flying. That is my number and I love it!

You'll need quick time player for this..
But this is the way we install our engines.
Hey, Bruce-I see......pick up a couple come-alongs from Harbor Freight and you're good to install, right?

I like the pictures also. Just wondered how we can con stan into giving us a ride in the one seat helecopter.
He surely can haul one person on his lap!Or,... we can hook a porch swing up underneath! But I'm waitin' until spring time for my ride. pbView Image

This is really fun Stan, thanks for your time.
