Anybody got any recommendations for a cordless circular saw for those of us who are gauche (i.e., left-handed)? I’ve got small hands at that.

I see your post is a couple days old, but seeing how no one else has answered your query, I thought I'd respond. I don't know of anyone who makes a left-hand blade cordless circular saw, so I suggest you just buy a standard right-hand model and learn to "read" the cut-line notch on the saw base carefully. As for a good model for someone with small hands, the B&D 14.4volt Firestorm saw is a good one. I also have a Porter Cable left-hand corded saw (model 743) and I like it, even though I'm a right-hander.
Thanks for the reply. The cordless part is really important--no electricity, no generator. I'm looking at a Makita saw for now. Any comments re Makita products in general?
