Wanting to re-strain (Siekens 078 Natural) my cedar shingles (siding). Current shingles have some slight mold and mildew (some black, green in select spots).
What is the best cleaner to use before I re-stain?
Thanks

I'd use a pump sprayer to apply a mix of Oxyclean and some dish detergent then scrub with a stiff brush. I'd use a small pressure washer with a wide tip to rinse and don't let the tip get too close as it will scar the wood. Spray down, not up.
