Finally giving up the tools. I’ve gone from carpenter contractor, to building inspector.
I’ll keep a few of the things I have duplicates of, the rest has got to go.
I have listed the first group on ebay;
http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/p_sajunk_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ
There will be more to come, Hitachi slide miter saw, ladders, scaffold, planks, gas compressor, etc.
Email me if you would like more info.

How much time have ya got ! :)
Maybe I'll put it in a separate thread.

What kind of scaffold planks are you selling ? 7' ones to snap on pipe staging ??
Probably the shipping to Maine would be the killer though.
How much each though ?
Here are pics of the 2 Werner 24" wides
Chicago to Maine? I don't think it would be worth it after shipping.
Maybe I could meet you in Buffalo New York !! (don't think so)

I can't shuffle off to Buffalo just now.
Thanks for the quick responses however.
Walter
Bestoluck to ya.
The BI in our town gets a percentage of the permit fees.
Past few months not much money in it for him
It's a salaried job in an affluent Chicago suburb. Pay is decent, (more than I would make this year on my own!)
I'm the only inspector on staff, so I do plan reviews, issue permits, inspect, etc.
It's been good so far (7 months) I believe I'll stay for a long time. The old bones can't be scaling micro-lams 40 feet in the air anymore.
As far as $ for my stuff....I'll get what I get I guess, It's just taking up space that I don't have. I'll keep the basics of course, I have sawdust in my veins, can't stay away from REAL work ;)

More info (size particularly) on your ladders and the scaffolding please. I'm not too far away from you and Buck is up in Johnsburg, so I can make him get it for me<G>.
Woodchuck. It's what's for dinner.
I've got 3 sections (six frames) of 5x7x7 blue frame scaffold.
2- 24" wide Werner decks (pictured earlier) 8 X-braces, 4 wheels, and 4 adjustable bases.
It's all in good condition, and not too old.
It was probably around $700 or more new??
If your willing to come get it, How about $375 for everything.
I think my pm is set up, try me there or I'll post up my email.
