I’m completely redoing the plumbing in my house. I have a 3″ VERTICAL stack that I want to connect to a 4″ HORIZONTAL waste line in the basement floor. Could I use a closet bend to make this transition?
I feel like the alternative is to use a reducer and a long sweep 90, but I was thinking the closet bend is both in one. Am I wrong about that?
Keep in mind I’m going from smaller (vertical) to bigger (horizontal).
I know local codes apply, but generally speaking, is this acceptable? BTW, the pic is sideways (needs to rotate 90 degs to the right don’t know how to fix that from google photos)
Thanks
Austin
