Anyone have any experience with one of those clothes conveyor thingies, like they use in a dry cleaners store? My client wants a lot of clothes storage in a small space.

Eddie,
googled closet carousels

looks like you'd have to call for more info. If you do the job, bring us some pictures, sounds really cool.

I think Outwater may carry some of that stuff. Not sure, you may want to look.

Well, how big (and small) is the space? I had a very nice job, the one time, for some folks. The builder had put three (yep, 3) rods in the 4'-2" x 6'-5" x <drumroll> 11'-10 1/4" tall closet's "tall wall." (In all fairness, it was sloped to match the cathedral MB ceiling, so it was not as bad an "elevator shaft" as it might have been.)
I rigged a ladder to the top bar on one side, and matched a stack of cubbies aligned behind the rungs. Was not ideal, but is was better for 5'-5" half of the couple (who had already made claims on the greater of the storage <g>).
Changed the single ceiling fixture (pull chain--sheesh) for a track fixture, which also worked out better.
How big & small?
Well, they want one of those carousel thingies to fit in a long narrow closet.

Yeah, well, I've had a number of closet customers wanting 11" hangers to fit in 9" clear spaces, too <g> . . .
"But, see, it's "L" shaped, like I did not the computer"
"Yeah, and you changed the wall depth to 15", too"
"Well, I'had'ta, it wouldn't let me do an "L" otherwise . . . "
"That wall is still only 9 1/4" deep."
"But it won't look like the computer plan . . . "
