Can anyone recommend me a good book which explains in detail CMU design and construction techniques and the exterior coatings options available for this type of walls.<!—-><!—-> <!—->

What's a "Construction Techniquest" ? Sure wish I knew as I posted it :)Live by the sword, die by the sword....choose your sword wisely.
Go to GOOGLE and type in National Concrete Masonry Association.
Also try Concrete Masonry Unit and Portland Cement Association.
