Anyone put a Cobra ridge vent on a slate roof? Can you put the slate tiles on it? Do you run copper down the top of the ridge? This is not a DIY project, but I’m not 100% certain the guys doing it are slate experts.

Here's the slateman installing a copper ridge. I've done similar using Cobra under the ridge cap for ventilation. He'll be along shortly.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. But I think from his description, he's using a copper ridge. I may be wrong, but between the two, he ought to be able to tell if they know what they're doing.http://grantlogan.net
