Commercial/industrial grade sealant and
I’ve got;
50 – 10.3 oz tubes of Dow Corning 791 silicone (don’t let that fool you it’s easier to work with than a latex!) weatherproofing sealant.
25 – 10.3 oz tubes of Sonolastic 150 joint sealant black (but paintable)
Dow Corning silicone;
Some tubes are black, most are light gray. Let me tell you this stuff is amazing it’s got to be my favorite of all sealants, it’s a silicone and has the power of silicone in place but it acts even better than all latex or acrylic and hardly smells. I’ve used it around the house for all sorts of things even as an adhesive and works great. You can re-tool it repeatedly for those sloppy caulkers and it doesn’t skim over adjoining surfaces that can’t be wiped up like with silicone. It even wipes off your fingers completely with a dry rag. I’ve used it on just about everything from concrete, wood, metal, plastic, glass and seems to stick just fine. I saved these as left over’s from a recent job, have run out of uses and will never use 50 tubes before it goes bad. They are labeled to have expired January 07’ but like I said I’ve still been using it just fine. I’m asking a $1.00 a tube plus what ever it is to ship or pick up in mid-Michigan area.
Sonolastic;
Same story these are left over’s with a 12mo shelf life but still seem fine. It’s to be used for any masonry, concrete, or asphalt joints. It’s a low-modulus, excellent adhesion, high movement, fast curing, pintable, wet glazing joint sealant. Also asking $1.00 a tube plus shipping.
