Before I say anything about the magazines, asking price or anything else, let me address the inevitable naysayers. Yes, I know you can get the FHB archive on a USB memory stick for less money. And yes, I know that print is dead and the future is digital. Although that doesn’t explain how the computer based paperless future ended up using more paper not less. Anyway, I’m asking $300 for the complete set. I’ve reached the point in life where I have to start downsizing and this is as good a place as any. I’m really looking for a buyer in the southern California area, or at least the region, who could pick up the magazines because shipping would be prohibitive – multiple times the asking price. Some folks, not all old farts like me, still like reading things in print. It’s nice to be able to hold a photo up and change the angle for better lighting or just take a physical magazine with you to read in the waiting room somewhere and not worry about finding a charging point for a device. Issue 308 just arrived so I’m going to go read that in glorious old fashioned hard copy – and then add it to the top of the stack.

While I understand your feelings the truth is that no one wants hard copies anymore. There have been dozens of free sets listed here over the years with no takers. I gave my full set to my nephew 10 years ago and he's never opened the boxes they were in.
If you're interested in shipping then. USPS has a book rate that is very cheap. I'd be willing to pay for shipping and packaging.
