My husband Charlie Fulton died recently. He was a phenomenal woodworker and taught himself many if not all of the building trades. He read voraciously and has many current books.
He has an entire collection of the Fine Woodworking and Fine Homebuilding magazines. I hate to discard them or separate them. Is any one interested in them? There are many issues of Fine Gardening, but not an entire set.
I also have a very large collection of wonderful books from Timber framing to tile laying.
I also have a collection of videotapes that show how to do many of the building trades like plumbing, etc.
Please let me know of any interest.

Not to make fun of your loss, but ...
I have often wondered what my wife will do with my tools and back issues if I go first. Most likely she will dump them all in on top of me, and say with a tone of voice that only a DW can muster up ... "Here. You liked the dam things so much, take them with you."
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it done the right way.
Donna,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

Sorry to hear.
I like to think that even through the magazines, books etc, we manage to pass on/ carry on the traditions ,and sharing of knowledge.
"If 'tis to be,'twil be done by me."
Donna,
I'm very sorry for your loss.
I think the magazines would likely be out of my price range, and I have about half a set already, but I might be interested in a couple of the videos. Maybe you could email me a list of what you have?
Thanks,
Kit

hi donna,
sorry to hear of your loss. i am not interested in the collection, but i would say its quite valuable. i would make sure you determine what a fair market value is before letting go of them. im sure there is a lot of people out there (not here at breaktime) that will try to get them for next to nuthin...

Good point. Does anyoine have an honest estimate of the market price?
