Concealed Ducted Mini Split
Can anyone elaborate more on these systems? I have a customer with a 3 zone mini split covering half of the first floor and part of a basement. We would like to get rid and of the ductwork that extends from the attic through the second floor to the areas on the first floor not covered by the 3 mini-splits. There is an open ceiling basement with the option to run ductwork for a new first floor system. Would it be better to abandon the mini split altogether or adapt it to cover the first floor. The first floor is also heated with radiant heat through baseboard and in wall radiators. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not quite following the question.
First step is to determine the actual cooling needs of the house.
