Concrete Counter

Finally going to do one, mine.  Always wanted to try it.  FHB 146 article helped. 

I also want to do a backsplash.  Do you think I can go 1-1/4″ thick?  6″ high by 8 feet long.

The counter top will be 23″ by 8 feet by 2″ thick.
