Concrete decking/patio

I am a homeowner, and a contractor poured new concrete too high against my foundation.  Is there code/guidance on how high the concrete should be next to the foundation?

    Kind of depends on what the new concrete is for, and what you mean by too high.

    Codes are designed to make sure buildings are safe and do not fall down.
