Could a building code update make your go-to materials obsolete?

Anchor bolts set in the concrete is what I remember.
I would think the holes for whatever anchors are used would be cast in place. One option would be to cast in place some sort of plastic block that you could drive screws into.
cast the concrete parts and let set up for a while. Then, drill the holes for either "Red-head" anchor bolts , or lead sheilds with lag bolts and washers. That way you can control WHERE the anchors/bolts would go.
Did you look at a bench to see how they're done?
thru carridge bolts for the back...
cobra super sleeves for the seat...

Thanks all, gives me some more ideas. Some I should have considered more than I did.
I have been thinking of the same thing. Precasting in anchors would be a pita to have them all line up unless you made a jig.Next thought cast a keyed strip of plastic in the mold for screws to bite into.Next thought cast a hollow into the mold and fill with PL permium then glue and screw into the pl once set. What do you think?
with all the abuse a park bench can catch from just one active teenager....
plastic inserts would'nt be long for this life...

Was thinking of a jig actually. Pour it like a concrete countertop, use foam and melamine for the curves. With that it should be feasible to sink a bolt in there. That was the part I was puzzling over when starting the thread.
Couldn't you just drill a hole and use epoxy putty to hold a bolt? That works for handrails in a concrete block wall at a school, should work on a bench.
Thanks, will use that if the bolts won't set when pouring concrete in the mold.
