Hi! I’m a builder in Cookeville, TN. We’re building a house with a basement. When we poured the basement slab we sealed the concrete with Kure-n-Seal latex based sealer. Now the owners have decided they want the floor stained. Is this possible? Is there any way to remove the sealer? It is not solvent based.

I'd contact the manufacturer of the sealer that was used. I'm led to believe that they usually can. But expect blotchy (from incomplete removal and tool marks) results.
Thanks. I'll try that and go from there.
http://www.acidstain.com is a good site to ask this question. If do-able it will involve floor buffer water and scotch pads.
